Day Two
Last night the pain was ok, after I removed the ice pack. I couldn't leave it on, it felt good without it on, maybe cause there was less weight on my knee. I got up this morning and took a long warm bath, used my crutch to keep the knee up. It was a challenge to get up and out when I was done though. I came to the living room and my wife set up the couch so that I could keep my leg elevated. I had a bowl of cereal with my daughter. My daughter wouldn't leave my knee alone she hit it a couple times. My son also hit my knee with the crutch on accident. When my wife left to work and my daughter went with her auntie. I was all alone for 3 hours. I was feeling hungry so I got up and warmed me up a pizza in the microwave, when it was time to bring it back to the livingroom, I knew that was gonna be a problem. I threw one crutch from the kitchen to the living room, and hobbled to the living room with one crutch, and my pizza on a plate in the other. I got halfway to the couch when I tripped over a pillow and ALMOST fell. But I caught my balance like a ninja would. lol. After I ate my pizza, took a nap, my wife came home....and before I knew it she was gone again, and she took the kids, so I was left all alone to fend for myself for like 5 hrs...but like a Ninja, ok not a ninja, a monk..I straight fasted til she came back! My daughter is once again climbing all over her daddy, and for some apparent reason she is a magnet to my knee! But it's all good, the pain is going away, and before I know it she'll be on it, and it won't hurt as much. Thank u to all those who have helped me out. My wifes friends Ane and her sister for bringing over some snacks, man that really helped me a lot..and to Dianna's friend from church Heather for making our family dinner tonight, that was bomb, I really liked it. And last but not least my WONDERFUL MOM for making me dinner the first and second night, you know mom your supo is the best! I think the hardest thing for me now, is keeping my leg leveled and straight. And sittin in the same spot for hours and hours, I wish I had a wheel chair! I have a doctors appt tomorrow, I hope he tells me I'm healing quick, cause I start my new job on Nov 8th! Pain level as of now is a 6.
